North Carolina writer publishes her memoir of life in London during the Blitz of WWII

Rita Berman's latest book reaches back to her childhood experiences of growing up in the East End of London, England during World War II. She recalls food rationing, evacuations, and the bombing of her grandparents' house and factory.
